Public Health and Welfare –
Welfare Development and Health
The 4th European Public
Health Conference will take place from 9 – 12 November
2011 at the Bella Centre in Copenhagen.
Public
health contributes to welfare by means of health
promotion, health protection, disease prevention
and health services. Such interventions
represent investments in a better health and better life
for populations. At the same time, they contribute to a
healthy labour force.
Our key-note lectures will
focus on economic crises and health –
inequality in health – the contribution of health
services to the quality of life of the elderly population –
register based research – the Danish flexicurity model
for social policy and labour market policy. We will run
13 parallel oral sessions (38 workshops and 27 oral
sessions) and three times 20 moderated
poster sessions. We will also offer an enticing
social programme. Please note the 23 pre-conferences that
will take place on 9 and 10 November.
See you in Copenhagen in
November!
