Introduction
We are seeking a Deputy Chief Physician (m/f/d) in Pulmonology to join a modern secondary care hospital in Lower Saxony. The facility has around 600 beds and treats approximately 25,000 inpatients and 80,000 outpatients per year. As an academic teaching hospital within a large private network, the Pulmonology Department offers the full spectrum of modern respiratory medicine, including sleep and ventilatory care.

Your Responsibilities
Deputise for the Chief Physician during absences
Medical, organisational and strategic development of the Pulmonology service
Ensure high-quality patient care within the specialty
Perform complex pulmonary diagnostics and therapies
Collaborate closely with other clinical departments
Provide clinical supervision and lead the training of junior doctors
Your Profile
Board-certified Internist (m/f/d) with focus in Pulmonology
Additional qualification in Sleep Medicine or willingness to obtain it
Several years’ experience as an (Senior) Attending/Consultant in Pulmonology
Strong leadership, clinical and interpersonal skills; team-oriented mindset
Proven ability to motivate and develop staff
Responsible, economically minded approach and commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration
