Your responsibilities:

Medical and organisational leadership of the Department of Internal Medicine and Geriatrics
Strategic development of clinical services and treatment pathways
Ensuring high-quality and economically sustainable patient care
Diagnosis and treatment of internal medicine and geriatric conditions
Promotion of interdisciplinary collaboration and team-oriented care
Supervision, mentoring and professional development of medical staff
Development and maintenance of regional clinical partnerships
Representation of the department internally and externally

Your profile & qualifications:

Board certification in Internal Medicine
Additional qualification or recognised specialisation in Geriatric Medicine (required)
Extensive clinical experience in the treatment of elderly and multimorbid patients
Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound and endoscopy
Previous leadership experience desirable but not mandatory
Senior physicians with strong leadership potential are encouraged to apply
Knowledge of quality management, risk management and process optimisation
Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills
Commitment to medical education and staff development
Strategic mindset and interest in the continuous development of healthcare services

For international applicants:

Medical degree and specialist qualification must be recognised in Germany or fulfil the requirements for German medical licensure (Approbation)
EU specialist certification or eligibility for equivalency recognition in Germany is required
German language proficiency at C1 level is mandatory
