Senior Physician (m/f/d) – Department of Cardiology / Angiology
 

A high-performing Department of Cardiology and Angiology within an acute care hospital providing advanced medical services is seeking a Senior Physician (m/f/d). The department covers the full spectrum of invasive and non-invasive cardiology and ensures a 24/7 PCI service for a catchment area of more than 300,000 inhabitants. State-of-the-art cardiac catheterisation facilities, long-established interventional expertise and the opportunity to participate in scientific projects provide excellent conditions for a demanding senior physician role.

Your Responsibilities:

• Senior-level care of inpatients and outpatients with cardiovascular diseases
• Performance and supervision of invasive cardiological diagnostics and therapies
• Ensuring and further developing the 24/7 PCI service
• Performance of all pacemaker and ICD procedures including CRT
• Application of advanced invasive techniques such as IVUS, FFR measurements and rotational atherectomy
• Participation in electrophysiological studies and ablation procedures
• Professional supervision and guidance of junior medical staff
• Involvement in scientific projects, e.g. within the “FITT-STEMI” programme

Your Profile & Our Requirements

• Board certification in Cardiology
• Several years of experience in invasive cardiology
• Profound expertise in pacemaker, ICD and CRT therapy
• Experience with IVUS, FFR and complex interventional procedures desirable
• High level of professional competence, sense of responsibility and strong team skills

With appropriate qualifications (e.g. certification, interventional cardiology), there is the option to assume the position of Lead Senior Physician (m/f/d).
