Chief Physician in the Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine (m/f/d)

We are looking for the next possible date for a

Chief Physician for the Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine full-time (f/m/d)

The hospital has 225 beds and 12 specialist departments that ensure comprehensive medical care. From 2025, after completion of the new building, you will be responsible for 4 operating theaters, 7 recovery room places, 10 intensive care ventilation places and 5 IMC places. We look forward to your expertise in anesthesia, intensive care medicine, pain therapy and emergency medicine.

Your tasks:

• Department management: Responsibility for the management and further development of the OR area and department processes.
• OR management: Coordination of daily OR planning, taking into account efficient processes and the OR statutes.
• Further development: Expansion of economically and medically efficient structures and concepts.
• Team leadership: Leading an interdisciplinary team and ensuring collegial cooperation.
• Quality assurance: Ensuring high-quality patient care.
   

Our requirements:

• Professional qualifications: Many years of professional experience in anesthesia and intensive care medicine with additional qualifications in intensive care medicine and emergency medicine.
• Leadership experience: Clinical experience in a leading position as well as competence in OR management.
• Social and leadership qualities: High social competence, assertiveness, sense of responsibility and organizational strength.
• Ability to work in a team and commitment: Flexibility, ability to work under pressure and willingness to cooperate across disciplines.
• Economic understanding: Business management thinking and cross-departmental organizational understanding.
