The hospital is an academic teaching institution affiliated with a university medical center and plays a key role in regional acute and standard care. The site offers a high-performance emergency infrastructure including 24/7 surgical readiness, cardiac catheterization services, endoscopy, and a helicopter landing pad in close proximity. The Department of Vascular Surgery comprises 12 ward beds with additional ICU capacity and provides the full range of modern vascular surgery, from peripheral and carotid surgery to dialysis access, venous surgery, as well as endovascular and hybrid interventions. Close interdisciplinary cooperation ensures high-quality, future-oriented patient care.

Your Responsibilities

  • Perform the full spectrum of vascular surgical procedures
  • Further develop open, endovascular, and hybrid surgical techniques
  • Conduct comprehensive vascular ultrasound diagnostics of arterial and venous systems
  • Promote close interdisciplinary collaboration in a collegial environment
  • Actively contribute to the medical and strategic development of the department
  • Participate in the training and education of residents and medical students
  • Help establish and advance future-oriented clinical standards

Your Profile & Requirements

  • Board certification in Vascular Surgery or General Surgery
  • Strong interest and enthusiasm for modern vascular medicine
  • Open-minded, team-oriented personality with excellent communication skills
  • Commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge transfer
  • Structured, responsible, and patient-centered working style
