Course Content
Gender-based violence is a pervasive global issue that affects individuals of all ages, genders, and backgrounds. This course provides an in-depth exploration of gender-based violence, its causes, and its impact on individuals, families, and communities. Through the examination of case studies, research, and current events, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the dynamics of gender-based violence, and learn strategies for prevention, intervention, and advocacy.
Learning objectives, training objectives
The overall purpose of the training programme is to increase participant’s knowledge and understanding of the concept of gender, and gender-based violence, sexuality, and rights. It will further take a look at the various forms of GBV.

Researchers, policy-makers, activists, women advocates and feminists, students, staff of NGOs and CBOs, staff of UN specialized agencies, donor agency field workers, volunteers, development actors, trainers, students, government officials etc.
