The objective of this course is to learn from experiences and lessons learnt from different countries, which can then be applied to different contexts. Discussion of case studies will enable participants to develop an analytic approach to problem solving and applying theoretical knowledge to a real life context. Topics include: Evaluation Tools and Options for health services financing; Social health insurance; Traditional risk sharing schemes; Community based insurance; Out of Pocket Payments.
