Course Content

Introduction to the concept of health interventions and their initial evaluation, including the «development pipeline» for new interventions / systematic comparison of randomised controlled trials and alternative study designs / case study on the use of insecticide-treated mosquito nets for malaria control in sub-Saharan Africa / monitoring and evaluation of the national malaria control programme in Papua New Guinea / case study from Switzerland – monitoring and evaluation of a health system
