Course Content

Core Modules:quantitative methods,epidemiology and research design,public health research and practice,internship,master's thesis;Specialisations: epidemiology,clinical epidemiology,genetic epidemiology,envirnmental and occupational epidemiology; Methodological Electives:new developments in biostatistics, advanced quantitative research methods;Electives from the MPH:Prevention and health promotion,health systems research and health economics, social and behavioural sciences,global public health

Learning objectives, training objectives

Students learn to analyse problems in different health-related fields, to plan, conduct and interpret studies, are aware of relationships between diseases and underlying risk factors, know how to assess their prognosis and impact on quality of life

Graduates in medicine, pharmacy, natural sciences, psychology, social sciences, statistics, sport science, economics and business administration, law and communication science or another health science relevant discipline
