Gender-sensitive monitoring and evaluation (M&E) refers to the practice of incorporating a gender perspective into the process of assessing and tracking the progress, impact, and outcomes of development programs or policies. It involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data through a gender lens to understand how gender dynamics affect program implementation and outcomes. This approach helps to identify gaps, challenges, and opportunities for improving gender mainstreaming in M&E.
Objetivos de formación
Develop an understanding of gender-sensitive approaches to monitoring and evaluation, enabling the ability to design and implement inclusive programs that address gender inequalities and empower marginalized groups.
Destinatario
This course is designed for women and men in governments, donor agencies and NGOs, non-profits, students, as well as individual consultants and trainers, who have the responsibility of mainstreaming gender in development organisations.
Calificaciones
There is no minimum qualification for this course. Undergraduate student are also welcome to apply. Basic knowledge of English language is important.
