1. This simply heartbreaking picture was a great opportunity for Angelina Jolie to prove herself as a dramatic actress, director Clint Eastwood was able to perfectly reveal this facet of the Hollywood beauty's talent. Many critics called this role the best in the history of Jolie's filming.
The action takes place in the 20s of the 20th century in Los Angeles. A young typist lives with her son. At the time of the plot, he is about 8 years old, and she is about 30. Suddenly her little boy disappears. The mother goes to the police, and she arranges a long search. It would seem that the case is resolved in a successful way – information about the found boy comes from a distant provincial town. The police arrange a solemn family reunion, however, the heroine sees that this boy is not her son.
