This newsletter will be the first of many in which we will present you monthly communication tips designed by Communication for Professionals. Medics on the Move (MoM) is a language learning programme developed for health professionals and pre-professionals using a second or foreign language in a medical context. You will find the language tips in the section jobs & career offers and on our website.
The courses and congresses cover a wide variety of topics, ranging from Public Health courses in the USA to conferences on Christian health care and stroke in Germany and France.
In the special section you will find information about how to apply for the 2014 European Health Award. This award includes prize money of €10,000 and will be presented at the 17th European Health Forum Gastein in October 2014.

Summer Institutes for Courses in Public Health

Communication tips by Medics on the Move
Medics on the Move (MoM) is a language learning programme of Communication for Professionals, specially developed for professionals and pre-professionals using a second or foreign language in a medical context.
MoM aims to provide medical professionals and pre-professionals working abroad or in a language-discordant context with language tools and support to help them function effectively in their new workplace. The e-learning platforms guide their users in a medical context by means of written and spoken conversation scenarios, a database of medical terminology, grammar tips and a manual on medical and intercultural communication.
