The ESGAR 2023 Annual Meeting and Postgraduate Course and its faculty of experts will provide participants not only with an in-depth overview of gastrointestinal and abdominal radiology, but it will also give an insight into cutting-edge technology in topics such as rectal cancer, IBD, HCC, liver cirrhosis, AI in abdominal radiology, elastography and screening strategy in abdominal conditions.
At ESGAR 2023, the Postgraduate Course “Fire in the Abdomen” is offered on the first day of the meeting. In four sessions the topics of hepatitis, biliary inflammation, pancreatitis, peritonitis and GI inflammation are addressed.
Each session deals with the respective imaging diagnosis and challenges and also focuses on the appropriate multidisciplinary management of patients. A 30-minute case-based discussion at the end of each Postgraduate Course session exemplifies the topic and enhances the learning experience.
Other educational activities will include Lecture Sessions, ESGAR tutorials, School of ESGAR, Cases of the Day and the Nick Gourtsoyiannis’ Foundation Courses on rad-path correlation.

ESGAR 2023 will be CME accredited. The number of credit hours of European external CME credits will be announced on the website and in the Final Programme.
