Health Economics and Policy is programs where students acquire the skills to appraise existing policy interventions and formulate improvements over these policies in order to get better health outcomes.
It’s an international program that has attracted students with diverse backgrounds (Public Health, Economics, Business Administration, Political Science, etc.), some of which have already spent some years in the professional world
This program is addressed to:
*Graduates in economics, business administration, engineering, health sciences
*Junior scientists and consultants with some background in economics looking for advanced tools in health technology evaluation and health policy
*Aspiring PhD students looking for a rigorous master program in health economics
The current class comes from very diverse cultural background, as well (USA, Canada, New Zealand, Mexico, Ghana, Portugal, Cyprus, Spain) and students are enjoying the many cultural and touristic attractions that Barcelona, Catalonia, and Spain has to offer.
