8th to 9th October 2021, online.
ESGAR (European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology) and EDS (European Digestive Society) aim to join forces in the organization of a multidisciplinary course on pancreatic diseases. The participants will learn how diagnosis depends on the structure of the pancreatic lesion, which can be directly visualized on US, CT or MR images and PET. Diagnosis depends also from invasive examinations. The timing of diagnosis has a great influence on possibility of surgical approaces and prognosis.
This whorkshop will be invaluable in enabling radiologists to understand the underlying pathology. The multidisciplinary approach is the key to guarantee the best diagnostic strategies and patient management.
The target group consists of senior residents and junior specialists/consultants with particular interest in the diagnosis and management of patients with pancreatic diseases.
