5th June 2024, Vienna, Austria.
Women in Global Health Austria and the European Health Forum Gastein are delighted to invite you to their upcoming event: “Breaking barriers – women in health leadership”, taking place from 17:00 – 18:30 CEST on 5 June at Gesundheit Österreich, Biberstraße 20, 1010 Vienna.
This event will highlight the challenges and opportunities faced by women in leadership positions, drawing insights from different sectors. Panellists, who hold key leadership roles in their respective organisations, will share their personal journeys, discussing the hurdles they have had to overcome and what has empowered and strengthened them along the way. We will critically appraise barriers and discuss strategies for removing them, as well as exploring whether certain sectors are more successful in promoting women in leadership than others. Join us for a dialogue that will emphasise the importance of exchange and collaboration among different stakeholders in health. We will explore how the public and private sectors, along with civil society, can learn from each other and work together to achieve fair representation of women in leadership roles.
The event is aimed at healthcare professionals, members of the pharmaceutical industry, public administration and civil society representatives, academics, students, and anyone interested in gender equity and leadership in the health space.
Location: Gesundheit Österreich, Biberstraße 20, 1010 Vienna For more information and detailed program visit the website.
