28th to 30th September 2016, Bad Gastein, Austria.
The main theme of our conference is “Demographics and Diversity in Europe – New Solutions for Health”. Following from this is a range of topics that comprises far more than the challenges – and opportunities – that an ageing European population is posing to our society and health systems. On our agenda: Pricing of and access to medicines, health literacy, immunisation across the life cycle, migration, and much more. We are especially proud to have some new faces with us this year, like Nobel Laureate in Economics Prof Paul Krugman. The full Programme Announcement is available here.
Online registration is now open, with special fees available for the early birds amongst you.
Also, we are still looking for applicants for the European Health Award 2016. If you are involved in a cross-border health project, apply. If you know someone who is, please spread the word. It is the Award’s anniversary year, and the winner project 2016 will not only be awarded €10.000, but also gain a great deal of visibility for their cause.
Another call for applications that is still open: Our Young Forum Gastein Initiative is looking for a new generation of scholars. Unsure whether you are eligible? All information is accessible here.
