The 14-week Diploma of “Advanced Studies Health Care and Management (DAS HCM): From Research to Implementation” course provides international participants with the core competencies to understand and react to health challenges (e.g. health care, child health, etc. ) at a world-leading institute in global and public health.
Content
Participants acquire a range of skills and knowledge needed to work as a member of a health management team, particularly in low- and middle-income societies. With a focus on practical application and interactive training, multinational participants benefit from engaging with experts from various fields and with a diverse student body to advance their position in the health sector.
Target Group
The course is open to participants from various backgrounds and countries. Participants are mostly trained health professionals (medical doctors, nurses, midwives, pharmacists, etc.), though participants from other disciplines (business or social science, for example) also contribute to class diversity.
Minimum Entry Requirements
Participants with a first professional qualification (e.g. Bachelor degree) have at least 2 years of professional experience and demonstrate sufficient English language skills (TOEFL Paper 550/ TOEFL Computer 213/ TOEFL internet 79 – 80/ IELTS 6.0 or native speaker or completed higher education in English).
