Human AI: Decoding Human Behaviour

21st to 25th July & 28th July to 1st August 2025, Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Are you fascinated by the complexity of human behaviour? Ever wondered how our thoughts, emotions, and social interactions evolve and adapt over time? If you’re looking to dive deep into the fascinating world of human processes, their underlying mechanisms, and how AI can simulate and decode them, then this advanced course is for you!

This course isn’t just about theories – it’s about applying cutting-edge knowledge to real-world human behaviour challenges. You’ll be at the forefront of exploring how AI can model human mental, social, and health-related processes.

Why Should You Attend?

Imagine being able to simulate how a person’s thoughts evolve over time, how social networks influence behaviour, or how health-related processes adapt and change. With Human AI: Decoding Human Behaviour, you’ll gain multidisciplinary insights into human processes, combining cognitive neuroscience, social science, and health sciences to build comprehensive models of human behaviour. Not only will you understand these processes, but you’ll also learn how to replicate them using AI tools that simulate real-world scenarios.

Course Description:

The human mind and its behaviours are complex and ever-evolving. From our thoughts to our social interactions to our health, change is constant. This course introduces you to the adaptive nature of human processes and helps you explore the causal pathways behind them, using network-based modeling. You will learn how mental, social, and health-related behaviours evolve over time and how they can be modeled in AI systems.

With a blend of lectures, hands-on assignments, and cutting-edge software tools, you’ll gain the skills needed to model a variety of human behaviours, from cognitive processes to social dynamics and health adaptations. Whether it’s simulating how a person learns, how social groups interact, or how diseases spread through networks, you’ll learn how these processes can be understood and manipulated through networks of causal relations.

In the second week, you’ll have the chance to collaborate with your peers on real research projects, where you’ll design and test models that could potentially form the foundation for future publications. This hands-on approach makes the course not only educational but also highly collaborative and research-oriented.

What Will You Learn?

By the end of this course, you’ll be equipped to:

  • Identify Key Human Processes: Understand the mental, social, and health-related processes that shape human behaviour and how they adapt over time.
  • Understand Human Behaviour Mechanisms: Explore how cognitive, affective, and social neuroscience intersect with cognitive and health sciences to influence individual and social behaviour.
  • Design and Simulate Models: Learn how to design network models to simulate and study adaptive processes in mental, social, and health-related behaviours.
  • Master Advanced AI Simulation Tools: Gain hands-on experience with Network-Oriented Modeling software to simulate human processes and test your theories in a dynamic, evolving environment

A Course You Can't Miss!

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to join this unique, interdisciplinary course and unlock the power of AI in decoding human behaviour. Whether you’re looking to apply your skills in research, develop practical AI models, or simply deepen your understanding of the fascinating world of human behaviour, this course is your gateway to the future of AI and human sciences.
