The global diabetes community will again unite at the IDF (International Diabetes Federation) 2017 Congress in Abu Dhabi, on 4-8 December 2017. The event will include more than 200 speakers, both world-renowned and newcomers, 230 national diabetes associations from 170 countries and high level participation from the Health Authority Abu Dhabi (HAAD) and other health organisations.

The scientific programme provides the latest developments in diabetes clinical practice, management, education, prevalence and public health issues. The broad nature of the programme is invaluable for all professionals in the field of diabetes, from clinicians and physicians to educators, public health specialist, epidemiologists, as well as policy makers and advocates.

With over 160 hours of sessions, 300 top-level speakers, 1000 posters and an estimated 21 CME credits, the programme aims to provide the delegate with an invaluable learning experience through varied and innovative sessions.

With such a charged programme, it is very important to rest your mind and unwind. For the first time IDF will be running lunch-time exercise classes.
