17th to 18th December 2020, Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
This course is a full two days hands-on training course on rectal MRI. In an interactive setting over 75 cases will be evaluated by each participant covering the entire spectrum of staging of the mid, upper and low rectal tumors, restaging after neoadjuvant treatment focusing on clinically relevant issues and new developments in diagnosis and treatment. In addition, the faculty will provide short hands-on lectures during each session, which will focus specifically on questions/issues raised by the participants during the case studies. Moreover, lectures will be held on general topics such as MR protocol optimization, standardized reporting, all based on the ESGAR consensus guidelines. At the end of each session, the most difficult cases (as indicated by the participants) and main teaching points will be discussed plenary. All participants will receive a syllabus containing all lectures, cases, as well as specific teaching points that can be derived from each case.
Target group
Radiologists, Surgeons, Radiation Oncologists, Medical Oncologists, Gastroenterologists etc, dealing with rectal cancer management who have some experience in interpreting rectal cancer MRI.
We encourage clinicians to join the course because it is the multidisciplinary interaction that is central in rectal cancer management. We have therefore introduced the “BRING YOUR BUDDY” principle. The clinician buddy will share the PC with his radiologist to enhance rectal cancer and pay a reduced price.
