For this year we expect programme contributions on the topics of health security and health threats, non-communicable diseases and multimorbidity, the potential uses of data and technological innovation for health policy making, and many more. From 30th September to 2nd October high-level decision-makers, experts, and stakeholders from all areas related to public health are going to engage with the question of how to secure a healthy Europe – in the long run. Our first Programme Announcement will be available soon and will give you an even better idea of what you are in for when attending our forum.

While the call for applications for our Young Forum Gastein Scholarships has closed for 2015, it is still possible to apply for the European Health Award. April was indeed a busy month: Last but not least, we are happy to share the video from our Vienna event, organised in conjunction with FOPI. „Re-thinking Health Policy: From Austria to Europe and back“ recaptured the Gastein 2014 Outcomes with special attention to the influence of European health policy on the Austrian public health system and vice versa.
