Consultant Anesthesiologist (m/f/d)

Anesthesia & Intensive Care (part-time possible, minimum 75% FTE)

The hospital offers a comprehensive portfolio including Internal Medicine (gastroenterology/cardiology with left-heart catheter lab), General, Visceral, Vascular and Trauma Surgery, Orthopedics, Gynecology, as well as Anesthesiology and Intensive Care. A medical care center is directly affiliated; additional network practices ensure seamless cross-sector care. The Department of Anesthesiology provides around 2,000 general and regional anesthetics annually and leads an interdisciplinary ICU with 6 ventilator beds. Current medical staffing equals 1 chief physician / 4 consultants / 0.5 FTE specialist. A new hospital building is underway with commissioning planned for spring 2026.

Your Responsibilities

Perform all standard general and regional anesthesia procedures (for general/trauma/vascular surgery, orthopedics, gynecology)
Co-manage and further develop the interdisciplinary ICU
Supervise, teach and train junior medical staff
Participate in on-call and standby duties
Contribute to process optimization and support the relocation to the new facility

Your Profile & Our Requirements

Board certification in Anesthesiology; additional Special Intensive Care Medicine qualification desirable
Solid clinical expertise in anesthesia and intensive care
Team-oriented communicator with patient-centered and economically sound approach
Motivation to work in a values-driven environment
Enthusiasm for teaching and for shaping a forward-looking clinical setting
